About Sarah Godwin


Sarah Godwin is a southern-born singer, songwriter, musician, and actress living in New York, New York. A native of McMinnville, Tennessee, she graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a B.A. in Music, has a certificate in Opera Performance from Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy, and a Professional Certificate from AMDA NYC's intensive Integrated Musical Theater Conservatory program. 

On stage, she has been featured in productions with several national tours, as well as with Laguna Playhouse, Theatre West, Amore Opera, Surflight Theatre, Harrah’s Atlantic City, Endstation Theatre, Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, Palace Theater in the Dells, The People’s Improv Theater, Recent Cutbacks, Amore Opera, Bound for Broadway, the Rhodes Singers, Opera Memphis, and the International Festival of the Arts in Arezzo, Italy. She performs live music of all genres on her piano, dulcimer, guitar, ukulele, or mandolin in various venues around Manhattan.

She currently lives in Brooklyn, and loves pizza, dirty martinis, and spontaneous dance parties.
